Signal Acquisition and Intelligent Data Analysis Laboratory (LASAID)
Principal Investigator: Dr. Israel Román Godínez
Description:
As a result of different scientific and technological advances, a series of devices and systems have been built, and continue to be built, that allow the acquisition and storage of large volumes of data; these data are a source of information and knowledge about different problems that can be studied.
The Signal Acquisition and Intelligent Data Analysis Laboratory (LASAID) aims to generate cutting-edge scientific and technological knowledge, as well as to contribute to the training of high-level human resources in areas of knowledge related to data acquisition and analysis, mainly using artificial intelligence algorithms.
Some of the sources of information with which it works, without being limited to these, are: biosensors (EEG, EMG, ECG, EOG, EDA, etc.), databases, images and sounds, social networks, websites, documents, among others.
